Classroom Highlights — May 10, 2026

At The Little Fellowship, our little learners have been busy exploring the wonder of the four seasons! This term, our classroom has come alive with hands-on activities, sensory play, and creative learning experiences designed to help children discover the changes that happen throughout the year.

From summer sunshine to autumn leaves, each season brought its own exciting theme. Our summer-themed sensory table was a firm favourite, filled with seashells, sand, sun hats, and even a pretend sun cream bottle — giving children the chance to explore beach life through touch, smell, and imaginative play. Alongside this, our display board came to life with colourful butterflies, flowers, and beach scenes, sparking curiosity and conversation about what makes summer special.

Through these playful, sensory-rich experiences, our children aren't just having fun — they're building real understanding. Exploring the seasons helps little ones make sense of the world around them, notice patterns in nature, and develop early science and language skills, all while engaging their senses and imagination.

At The Little Fellowship, we believe learning happens best through play, discovery, and hands-on exploration — and our seasons unit is a beautiful example of that in action.
